The Circles
In the CCSS model there are four concentric circles. Each circle contains groups of participants that both contribute and receive benefits through their participation in TOE. These groups include youth, their families and friends, local and national outdoor organizations, and outdoor goods and service providers. The model illustrates how local and national outdoor organizations, along with outdoor goods and service providers combine their interests to achieve the common goal of getting youth, their families and friends outdoors. Then alternately, how getting more youth, their families and friends outdoors, helps to support local and national outdoor organizations along with outdoor goods and service providers. Following is an overview of each of the circles.
